Housed in the famous Northern Quarter, this is a popular venue for the city's more discerning nightlife and has a keen edge for a design conscious crowd. The venue was split into bar and restaurant areas and the challenge was to maintain the distinctive style whilst stripping out much of the recent design to reveal original features and create a single, desirable space.

The vintage feel with a 60’s aesthetic has been paired back allowing the original features to flourish and the retro warehouse effect now flows through one big space. Bespoke charred timber cladding to bar and walls warms the room and extruded booths create intimate spaces. Up-cycling furniture retained a link to the previous incarnation whilst additional flourishes evolved the Bluu concept for a new generation
