This historic and traditional pub was once home to Anne of Cleves but had become dated rather than charmingly old fashioned. Concorde BGW restored the classic English country aesthetic to the venue which now has an emphasis is on serving great food to families and traditional pub-goers alike.
This beautiful traditional pub is warm and inviting, with a fun vintage feel. The stripped back design reveals the charm of the original building and creates a more welcoming and light feel to the more modern additions. The venue is split into Main Bar and Upper Dining Area, the private Room at the Back, cosy Snug under the Stair, and sought after Seat With a View. The new garden and pathway frame this small piece of heritage perfectly.
