NAAFI SHIPS, BRITISH FORCES

Concorde BGW have undertaken some difficult design and build projects in our time but nothing quite like the NAAFI Canteens and shops aboard actual serving warships. Each project typically takes about 4 weeks from start to finish and in this time we visit, survey, gain approval and then undertake the works with site time approximately 4-5 days. This intensive work schedule is undertaken with the added complications of security clearance, site access and working along side companies installing vital systems while the ships are being refurbished. This demands rapid planning, complex coordination and an extremely high level of health and safety awareness.
